3 Beautiful Brooklyn Wedding Venues

March 19, 2020

Box House Hotel:

The Box House Hotel is a Rooftop Wedding Venue, this space has a 300 guest capacity. You can have your full wedding ceremony and reception or just use the rooftop for your reception. This venue has a retractable roof so if you end up with some unsightly weather on your wedding day it’s a quick fix. When the rooftop is covered, the views are still absolutely stunning and it won’t take away from the overall feel.

If you’re getting married at The Box House Hotel they have not one but two vintage taxi cabs available to you all the time to take photos in and with.

I love the surrounding blocks of The Box House Hotel because they’re lined with vibrant art walls.

When I’ve worked there the food is served family-style which I personally love because your tables will have options of what they want to east versus just picking one dish.

The market lights that are strung above give a fun feel and make for beautiful photos. Especially during toasts.

Brooklyn Winery:

Brooklyn Winery is the ultimate cool Millenial wedding venue. It’s moody, it’s vibey and it also has a rustic charm in the middle of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. If you can jam your 100 – 165 of your friends into this venue, you’re in for a trendy treat.

I love the barrels used as tables, their vintage-inspired dishware and the candles that set the mood. You can listen to your wedding toasts with a living wall backdrop.

The food is incredible and of course, the in house wine will be over-flowing.

What I love about Brooklyn Winery is the closeness it allows for. If you’re the couple who wants to dance with your guests versus just alongside them, this is the place for you.

The lantern-esque lights make your photos just pop and make you feel like you’re dancing under stars.

Brooklyn Botanic Garden:

Peak season pricing for wedding receptions is $11,000 and off-season is $5,000. The Palm House at Brooklyn Botanic Garden which is where the receptions are usually held has a 250 guest capacity which is more than enough space to keep things cozy but still has enough space to not feel crowded.

What I love about Brooklyn Botanic Garden is that even if it’s cold out you can still have portraits that have an outside look. These photos were in one of the exhibits in the garden.

If your ceremony is during the day The Palm House is sun-drenched and beautiful. My couple were married after sunset but I was able to control the light with flash so I didn’t rely on warm over-head light.

The reception in The Palm House has such a good vibe, it’s like you’re in a big bubble rocking out with your friends and family. The right DJ could have this place bumpin!
